DESCRIPTION: These delightful earrings have been crafted in solid 9ct rose gold. An incredibly beautiful and very elegant pair of earrings that started life as a set of cuff links. The cufflinks were originally made in Chester England and have a clear Chester hallmark , they are assay dated 1905. The Chester Assay office closed down in 1962 making jewellery displaying the Chester crest hallmark very collectable. The cufflinks have been converted into a pair of drop style earrings giving them a new life to be enjoyed with todays fashion. The earrings have had nice solid hand-made shepherd's hooks attached to the top and are linked to a large oval shaped drop that has been masterfully hand engraved with a divine foliate design.

The earrings are quite long in length size measuring from top of hook to bottom or earring 36.00mm x 10.80mm.

Such a beautiful pair of earrings and much larger than the usual style we have, this gives them an elegant long drop. A very stylish pair of earrings with a little history to add to your earring collection.⚜️⚜️

In good Victorian condition, one has one minor impression to front and minor impressions to side. These are very minor see photos hard to spot mentioning for accuracy. With new hand-made hooks added.⚜️⚜️
