DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous piece is an original sterling silver Antique Double albert chain. Made in England the Chain is hallmarked with the lion passant to some links, the chain has been modified at some point with extra links added and the dog clips have also been replaced at some point in time. The Albert chain is a beautiful, graduated curb link chain, there is T-bar and fob medal on a larger ring that moves freely around the chain and can be taken off to give versatility. The fob medal is a particularly beautiful medal, it is Double sided with one side having a Rose gold gilded shield to the center and the reverse side a silver shield allowing you to personalise both sides. The fob medal has lovely crisp Birmingham hallmarks assay dated 1901.The Dog clips as with many of these pieces are not original to the chain, they are in lovely working order.

Albert chains never date and are a wonderful statement piece to wear. A timeless style that can be enjoyed for generations.🌹🌹
