DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous piece is an original sterling silver Edwardian Double albert chain. Made in England the with the Hallmarks indicated London assay dated 1908. An incredibly solid piece with a weight of 58.30 it is certainly a fine piece. The Albert chain is a wonderful curb link with a nice width of 6.30mm and each link is hallmarked with the lion passant. The T- bar and dog clips seem to be original to the chain bearing the same makers mark and assay date letter and the dog clips are in beautiful working order.

The Fob Medal dates a little later, this is assay dated 1921 and has wonderful crisp Chester hallmarks making it a collectable piece. It is attached with a 4cm length of chain giving a fabulous drop making a great statement. It is a wonderfully large shield medal with a Rose gold gilded Front cartouche and beautiful hand engraved detail to the outer. The back of the medal is engraved see photos.

Albert chains never date and are a wonderful statement piece to wear. This is a particularly lovely one with a wonderful, large and beautiful two-tone fob medal. This is a gorgeous find.🌹🌹

In excellent Edwardian condition with patina can be polished.🌹🌹
