DESCRIPTION: This extraordinary piece has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. It is old gold so has a slight pink hue. An original Victorian Guard/Muff Chain we believe to be circa 1880 this grand old girl is in absolutely incredible condition and a true investment piece. A Muff chain is a staple piece for every antique jewellery collector and is a definite must-have. These are becoming incredibly hard to find and to acquire one in this condition is amazing.

The chain has a fancy belcher link and is in beautiful condition being lovely and strong. The entire length is 142cms and 71cms when doubled over. The clasp is a beautifully strong nice size bolt ring that looks original to the chain.

These extra-long chains are incredibly versatile and can be worn in a multitude of ways. The perfect piece to layer with as it can be wrapped around the neck up to 3 times or you can double it over. This is a fabulous piece to support your favourite fob or pendants on the bolt ring clasp. They are also amazing wrapped around the wrist which is a particular favourite of mine. 🌹🌹
