DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous piece is an original sterling silver antique albert chain. The chain is English, the links hallmarked with the lion passant and the T-bar is assay dated 1876. This would have originally been a Gentlemans watch albert chain and as with most of these has been converted with pieces added over the years to a more wearable fabulous piece for the neck. The Albert chain is a beautiful, graduated curb link chain with each link stamped with the lion passant, there are 7 links in the end that look to have been added at a later date that do not have lion passant but are sterling silver. The T- bar is a nice size and is stamped with lion passant and assay date 1876. The Dog clip looks to have been replaced and is in beautiful working order. The chain has a gorgeous fob Medal added depicting a shield that has gorgeous etched work and a blank cartouche.

Albert chains never date and are a wonderful statement piece to wear. They are a great piece to wear daily as your staple and look amazing on.🌹🌹
