DESCRIPTION: A gorgeous original Albert chain that has been crafted in solid sterling silver and is an English made piece. Fashioned in a graduated solid (not hollow) curb link chain each link stamped with the lion passant showing that it is a quality made piece, the chain is fastened with a strong Albert style dog clip assay dated 1904 . These chains are generally made up of a collection of pieces the assay dates and hallmarks telling the story. The fob medal is a particularly nice one made by Rolason Bros - manufacturing jewellers and silversmiths of Vyse Street Birmingham and is assay dated 1913. The fob medal boasts a rose gold gilded shield to the front and a beautiful intricate hand engraved pattern to the silver surround. The T-bar hangs on a ring with the fob medal and is assay dated 1915.
