DESCRIPTION:  An absolutely fabulous find, this double albert chain is crafted in solid sterling silver. The double albert chain is an English made piece, the hallmarks indicating it is Birmingham made and is assay dated 1913. The chain features a triple strand tight curb link chain either side and is all link together in the middle with a round jump ring, attached to the central jump ring is solid T-bar and a 20mm length of chain with a beautiful shield shaped fob medal attached.  As with many of these chains they are made up of a collection of pieces from different times and the fob medal is particularly beautiful. The fob medal is also Birmingham made and is assay dated 1898. The chain does up with 2 Albert style dog clips that are very secure and work beautifully. 

An incredible double albert that looks incredible on. An unusual and rare chain that would suit a collector of Antique jewellery. A great statement piece steeped in history.⚜️⚜️
