DESCRIPTION: A gorgeous double albert chain crafted in solid sterling silver. Made in England with Birmingham Hallmarks and is assay dated 1931-1932. A very solid piece with a substantial weight of 50.60 grams. The Albert chain is a classic curb link, solid in construction (not hollow) with a nice width of 6.15mm each link hallmarked with the lion passant. The T- bar and dog clips are original to the chain bearing the same makers mark and are in beautiful working order.
The Fob Medal is an earlier piece assay dated 1912. It is a particularly nice piece with a hand engraved flower to the top and beautiful boarder work surrounding a central yellow gold gilded shield cartouche. It is attached with a 4cm length of chain giving a fabulous drop making a great statement.
A wonderful example of a double Albert chain in beautiful original condition. A lovely find with all original dog clips and T-bar to the chain and the added bonus of the drop with two-tone fob medal. A statement piece that is a must for the collector and never goes out of style.🌹🌹
