DESCRIPTION: Every now and then I find a stone that just captures my heart, this my friends is one of those. I fell in love with this Opal for its unique shape, and its intense and unusual colour. The Opal is an Australian Solid Boulder Opal that was mined in Quilpie Queensland and she is just stunning!

We have had this artisan ring crafted in solid 9ct rose gold.  A new hand-made ring featuring a strong half round shank that is a nice width of 3.05mm with upswept shoulders. We wanted a rustic and organic look and feel to this ring to compliment this unique and beautiful Opal. Front and center is one bezel set free-form Natural Solid Australian Boulder, the Opal is so unique it is a freeform shape and has a slight (boat type) dip to the center, (see photos I have tried to capture it) the cutter has done this to bring the most intense colour out of the opal. The Opal has an incredible colour mix of white, intense rolling red, a hint of blue, a hint of green and mottled rich ironstone. Set amongst the warmth of rose gold this is truly breathtaking.
