DESCRIPTION: This is a truly BEAUTIFUL example of a vintage buckle ring. A British made piece with full Birmingham hallmarks and assay dated 1963-1964. Hallmarks are lovely and crisp. The ring is lovely and wide front and back and has a beautifully etched floral pattern with one heart, the etching runs the full circumference of the ring. A joy to wear both in comfort and beauty.

The buckle was a Victorian symbol of steadfast love.  Even today the buckle ring symbolizes the sentimental, binding love between the giver and the wearer of the ring . The interlocking belt and the buckle represents how perfectly the suitors are attuned to one another.🌷
