DESCRIPTION: A truly delightful ring that has been crafted in solid 9ct rose gold. A beautiful original Edwardian ring showcasing wonderfully crisp hallmarks indicating the ring is of English origin with a Birmingham hallmark and is assay dated 1902. A beautifully hand crafted piece fashioned in the traditional Buckle style and displaying a gorgeous hand etched foliate pattern that follows the full circumference.  The ring is a nice width at 9.10mm in the front.

The buckle was a Victorian symbol of steadfast love. Even today the buckle ring symbolizes the sentimental, binding love between the giver and the wearer of the ring. The interlocking belt and the buckle represents how perfectly the suitors are attuned to one another.🌹🌹

Width at front of ring is 9.10mm, width at back of ring is 5.50mm.

In good Edwardian condition, evidence or resize or repair in back does not affect its beauty noting for accuracy. 🌹🌹
