DESCRIPTION: This beautiful locket has been crafted in solid 9ct soft rose gold. The locket is a beautiful old gold with a soft rose hue and we have hung it on a modern pre-loved rose gold chain.  The locket was made in England displaying Birmingham hallmarks and assay dated 1905. An original Edwardian locket that is just divine in it's simplicity, the locket is double sided with 2 x perspex covers which have been replaced at some point during it's life as originally they would have been glass. We have left the photo in it that was in it when it came to us but the new owner can change if they desired. The top has a screw on bail which works as it should. The piece is in beautiful condition for it's age. The chain is a modern pre-loved chain in a warm rose gold and looks beautiful with the locket.
