DESCRIPTION: This delightful locket has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. The locket is a beautiful old gold so has a gorgeous warm hue to it that we only get with these original antique pieces. The locket was made in England, displays Chester hallmarks and is assay dated 1907. The Chester Assay office closed down in 1962 making anything bearing these hallmarks now very collectable.

An original Edwardian double sided oval shaped locket with a gorgeous bail that is a good size and will accommodate a wide variety of chains. The bail screws onto the top to secure the insides of the locket. The locket has two glass covers which look to be original to the piece, inside there is old paper that came in it so we have left as is and the new owner can remove if desired. Please note, sale is Edwardian locket only chain not included and us for display only.
