DESCRIPTION: This stunning locket has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold and is hung on a 9ct yellow gold chain. The locket was made in Glasgow Scotland and is assay dated 1910. An incredibly beautiful piece the locket is oval in shape with a beautiful foliate vibe embossed front and a central heart shaped blank cartouche that can easily be personalised. The back of the locket is equally beautiful with an embossed foliate pattern and wonderfully crisp hallmarks. The interior of the locket has 1 original 9ct gold hallmarked frame and inserts/covers for photos. The locket is hung on a vintage twisted link chain that is nice a solid with a ring clasp to fasten.

The locket has some patina on the inside of the locket and we have left original as this is generally created from the warmth of chest/heart and is part of the lockets story and life. The locket snaps closed nicely and remains closed securely. 

An incredibly beautiful and charming piece that can be worn daily. The locket has exquisite detail. A nice sized piece to be worn on its own or with your favourite antique pieces.

Locket is in beautiful Edwardian condition. The chain is in lovely vintage condition. 🌹🌹
