DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous piece has been crafted in solid sterling silver. An English made piece displaying Birmingham hallmarks and assay dated 1901. Part of an original Albert chain that has been made into a bracelet. As with many Albert chains bits and pieces have been added or links taken off at different times adding to the charm and character. The chain is hand crafted with twisted silver long links and a twisted knot style link alternating. The bracelet fastens with one secure Albert style dog clip clasp and has a nice sized solid T-bar.
The fob medal is a nice size with beautiful etched detail and a blank shield cartouche in the center. Not original to the Albert chain, looks to be a later add on definitely vintage we believe circa 1940s.
A wonderful antique piece to team with silver bangles. A substantial piece on the wrist that looks fabulous on.⚜️⚜️
In beautiful Edwardian condition. ⚜️⚜️
