DESCRIPTION: This FANTASTIC piece is an original sterling silver antique double Albert chain with fob medal, T-bar and a fabulous vesta case. A truly fabulous find! An English made original double Albert chain, the chain has a wonderfully large link with every link being stamped with the Lion passant and there are 2 dog clips that function beautifully and a T-bar. These are all original to the piece making it special. The chain is Birmingham hallmarked and assay dated 1907.
The fob medal has been an addition to the chain and is a British made medal hallmarked Birmingham and assay dated 1904. The medal is a wonderful size measuring 47.14 x 31.40mm. There is still some enamel to the piece which looks wonderful adding to the charm. The medal was an award for the "Long Eaton & District League 1904-1905".
The vesta case is sterling silver and a beautiful piece in its self. It has been hand etched and has a blank cartouche on front. Made in Birmingham and assay dated 1899.
This is an exceptional piece with a fabulous chunky look to it. The piece is in wonderful condition and is an incredibly unique piece.⚘⚘
In beautiful Edwardian antique condition. There are some minor impressions to Vesta Case which just adds to its charm. The piece has original pattina that can be polished if desired. ⚘⚘
