DESCRIPTION: This ELEGANT locket has been crafted in solid sterling silver. A vintage piece made in England and displaying Birmingham hallmarks and is assay dated 1978. This is a beautiful locket that is a good sized piece. Oval in shape the front of the locket has been beautifully etched with a "Foliate" pattern, the back is polished silver with hallmarks. The locket snaps closed tightly and is on a new 50cm quality cable link sterling silver chain.

The inside of the locket has not been polished. It has patina that is generally created by the warmth of the wearers heart/chest. We like to leave this as it is part of the lockets history and journey. It can easily be polished is purchaser desires.

A gorgeous vintage locket that never dates. The locket is a wonderful size giving it a nice presence on the neck/chest. Would look lovely on a short or longer chain. 💮💮

Locket measures 45.50 mm ( from top of bail to bottom) x 27.70mm.

Chain is 50cms in length.

In good vintage condition, with patina. Chain is new.💮💮
