DESCRIPTION: This GLORIOUS ring has been crafted in solid 9ct Rose gold. This is an original Edwardian piece that is British with beautifully crisp Birmingham hallmarks and assay dated 1901-1902. A particularly fine example of a buckle ring being tremendously SOLID, HEAVY & WIDE. The ring is wonderfully wide and bold in the front tapering gently toward the back for comfort, it has a divine foliate pattern that extends the full circumference of the ring. The pattern has worn towards the back due to its age but is still very much evident. This is an absolutely stunning ring.

The buckle was a Victorian symbol of steadfast love.  Even today the buckle ring symbolizes the sentimental, binding love between the giver and the wearer of the ring . The interlocking belt and the buckle  represents how perfectly the suitors are attuned to one another.🌹🌹

Width at front of ring is 13.90mm, width at back of ring is 6.20mm.

In beautiful solid Edwardian condition. Pattern has some wear to back (see photos) but is still very evident.

SIZE: Q1/2 ( fits like a Q as it's wide). Not resizable due to pattern on the band.
