DESCRIPTION: What a beautiful pendant this is! The pendant was made by leading Melbourne jewellery manufacturers G & E Rodd under their registered trademark "Apex". From the 1920's to the late 1940's, Rodd used their trademark "Apex" on jewellery and silverware to show the quality and attention to detail of their products. This piece is circa 1920's and is fashioned in a beautiful solid cross that widens at the cross points and boasts stunning hand engraved detail. The body of the cross is set with six round cut paste stones (antique glass) that are a striking orange red in colour. There is a small bail attached that suits a finer style chain but could have a larger one put on for a larger chain easily. This is quite a large cross measuring 30.40mm x 19.00mm.

A superb Australian Antique piece that is in almost unworn condition. So beautifully detailed and is a wonderful solid pendant.✝️✝️
