DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous pendant is crafted in 9ct yellow gold. This piece is a conversion piece that started life as a brooch and has been converted to a pendant. The brooch was circa 1950’s and was made by leading Melbourne jewellery manufacturers G & E Rodd. From the 1920's to the late 1940's, Rodd used their trademark "Apex" on jewellery and silverware to show the quality and attention to detail of their products.  In 1948 the mark was replaced with "Rodd". The piece has a central Nail running vertically through a Horseshoe. There is a hidden bail attached to the back that would suit a variety of chains.

A truly gorgeous pendant that is something a little different. Fabulous worn on its own or layered with your favourite chains. 🧲🐎
