DESCRIPTION: This GORGEOUS ring has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. A vintage ring made in England and displaying full London hallmarks it is assay dated 1961. An incredibly solid and well made piece that is a fantastic width. The ring is a buckle design that is nice and wide the full circumference. This piece is a little different to most and has a natural Garnet set in to one side of the buckle and a natural Emerald set to the opposite side. The stones are set in a star claw setting and adds a little something special to an already gorgeous ring.

The buckle was a Victorian symbol of steadfast love. Even today the buckle ring symbolizes the sentimental, binding love between the giver and the wearer of the ring . The interlocking belt and the buckle  represents how perfectly the suitors are attuned to one another.
