DESCRIPTION: This is an incredible vintage ring circa 1940s - 1950s that is bold and beautifully detailed. Crafted in 9ct rose gold, the ring has a substantial weight of 9.00grams. Fashioned with a very solid half round shank widening to broad shoulders that have an exquisite hand engraved "vine" type detail, center is an incredible very large rectangular colour change synthetic Sapphire that has a fabulous domed checkerboard top set in a rub over setting and stepping down to a decorative boarder. The movement of colour in this stone is truly magical changing from a vivid purple to a deep indigo blue, the cut of the stone makes this even more stunning.

An impressive vintage piece that is wonderfully solid and truly unique. A bold ring on the hand that would suit either a male or a female. 💜💙

Set with 1 x rectangular domed checkerboard cut synthetic colour change Sapphire approx. 9.60ct (14.00mm x 12.00mm) and colour changes between violet purple to a purply indigo blue.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Looks to have been re-shanked at some point. Very tiny chip to corner of stone, under setting so not noticed at all and extremely minor. Priced accordingly.
