DESCRIPTION: This FABULOUS piece is an original Victorian sterling silver antique double albert chain. An absolutely fabulous find with T-bar, Chain, both Dog clips all being original to the piece. We don't often find this as usually they had had pieces added through times. The fob medal is also dated for the same year so was most likely original to the piece also. The piece is English made and is a solid curb link chain with each link being hallmarked with the Lion passant,  there are 2 very solid Albert Dog clip fasteners making this a double Albert chain. The fob medal is beautiful in design and quite ornate with a blank cartouche to the font and hand etched details surrounding.

This is a particularly fine example of a Victorian double albert chain. Not often are all pieces original to the item, this piece has all original parts all made in 1899-1900. In beautiful condition indeed. A wonderful addition to an Antique jewellery collection.

T-BAR HALLMARK: Lion passant,  Z ( assay date letter 1899- 1900), unreadable other hallmark.

FOB MEDAL HALLMARK: T&S(makers), Lion passant, Z ( assay date letter for 1899-1900) anchor (Birmingham made).
