Thai Princess or No Pa Kao rings are a long standing part of the South East Asian tradition and were made popular in the western culture by GIs early and mid-last century bringing these rings home for their loved ones, hence the name "Sweetheart" ring. Each ring has its own love story.❤

DESCRIPTION: This WONDERFUL ring is crafted in solid 14ct yellow gold. A vintage piece circa 1940's -1950's. The ring has a lovely solid shank with elevated shoulders leading to an incredibly intricate setting. Set with a central round Amethyst surrounded by 8 claw set round opals. Below the opals are 8 bezel set beautiful oval cut Amethyst followed by 8 claw set round opals. The under-gallery has incredible gold swirling detailing throughout giving this grand girl a fabulous profile from every angle. 

This is a truly WONDERFUL piece of jewellery that makes an amazing cocktail ring. The ring has wonderful detail throughout and is a true pleasure to look at.💜💜

Set with 1 x central round cut natural Amethyst measuring approx. 3.55mm, 8 x oval cut natural Amethyst measuring approx. 5.50mm x 4.50mm each in size. All Amethyst are a mid vivid purple in colour. 16 x round cut natural Opals measuring approx. 2.60mm each in size. Opals have strong colour play of purple, green & pink.

These Thai princess rings are a personal favourite of mine and have become quite collectable. They come in many different combinations of gems and are just a joy to look at and own.💜💜

Ring is in beautiful vintage condition. Evidence of resize does not affect ring at all.💜💜
