Thai Princess or No Pa Kao rings are a long-standing part of the Southeast Asian tradition and were made popular in the western culture by GIs early and mid-last century bringing these rings home for their loved ones, hence the name "Sweetheart" ring. Each ring has its own love story.❤

DESCRIPTION: This incredible ring is crafted in solid 14ct yellow gold. A Vintage piece circa 1950s-1960s. The ring has a very solid flat edged shank that is a nice width at 2.85mm. The centre piece is a large stepped cluster style setting comprising of nineteen claw set, round cut Natural Sapphires of Ceylonese type that are a tremendous mid bright blue in colour, completed by a decorative scalloped and beaded outer frame of gold.

An impressive ring on the hand that is definitely a statement piece. The weight of the ring feels luxurious on the hand and will not disappoint. These Thai princess rings are a personal favourite of mine and have become quite collectable in recent times. They come in many different combinations of gems and configurations.

Set with 19 x round cut Natural Sapphires measuring approx. 2.65mm - 3.05mm each in size, mid bright blue in colour.
