DESCRIPTION: This incredible ring is crafted in solid 18ct gold. A vintage piece circa 1940s -1950s. The ring has a very solid shank with upswept shoulder's attached to the center piece. The central setting has gorgeous intricate gold work to the gallery and there is a central claw set 0.30ct round cut Natural Sapphire and three halo's of claw set Natural Sapphires that tier below. An incredible ring that is very solid and weighty. 

Thai Princess or No Pa Kao rings are a long standing part of the South East Asian tradition and were made popular in the western culture by GI's early and mid-last century bringing these rings home for their loved ones, hence the name "Sweetheart" ring. Each ring has its own love story.❤

Set with 1 x central round cut Natural Sapphire approx. 0.30ct in weight (4.1mm) dark blue in colour, 36 x round cut Natural Sapphires with combined weight of 1.00ct dark blue in colour. Total combined Sapphire weight 1.30ct.

These Thai Princess rings are a personal favourite of mine and have become quite collectable in recent times. They come in many different combinations of gems and are just enchanting to look at and to own.💙💙
