DESCRIPTION: These unique earrings have been crafted in solid 9ct yellow and rose gold with mother of pearl. These are gorgeous and very quirky earrings that you will fall in love with. They are conversion earrings and started life as as gentlemen's shirt studs. The shirt studs date from the early 1900's and were converted at some point in recent years to gorgeous earrings. We purchased these as earrings and fell in love with them. Circular in shape with a patterned yellow gold border they have a beautiful mother of pearl inlay with a gold cross wire in the center. The reverse side is in 9ct rose gold and they have 9ct rose gold butterfly backs.
