DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous ring has been hand-made in solid 14ct yellow gold. A vintage piece circa 1960's to 1970's, hallmarks indicate the ring is of Middle Eastern origin. The ring has a very solid rounded shank, there is a central large semi bezel setting that is raised off the band and joined by one gold sphere and open shoulders. The center is set with one large oval cabochon cut Natural Chrysocolla that has an incredible display of colour.

According to legend, Cleopatra carried Chrysocolla. Apparently, she appreciated this jewel for its calming properties. According to local mythology, she believed that this stone protected her from violent people’s rage. It is a stone that is particularly loved by woman for its calming and protective properties.
