DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous pendant has been hand-made in solid 14ct yellow gold and comes on a quality 9ct yellow gold chain. A vintage pendant circa 1960's, it has been hand-made and features a good sized bail that will accommodate a variety of chains. It has a substantial sized pear shaped drop that has a central bezel set large, magnificent natural Chrysocolla stone that has incredible colour. Surrounding the stone is a pear shaped halo of gold. The pendant is a wonderful size measuring 38.80mm x 19.10mm. The pendant comes on a quality solid 9ct gold curb link chain. 

According to legend, Cleopatra carried chrysocolla. Apparently, she appreciated this jewel for its calming properties. According to local mythology, she believed that this stone protected her from violent people’s rage. It is a stone that is particularly loved by woman for its calming and protective properties.
