Collectable Thai Princess or No Pa Kao rings are a long-standing part of the Southeast Asian tradition and were made popular in the western culture by GIs early and mid-last century bringing these rings home for their loved ones, hence the name " Princess/Sweetheart" ring. Each ring has its own story or romance and love.❤ 

DESCRIPTION: This incredible ring has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. A Vintage piece circa 1950s-1960s. The ring is incredibly heavy weighing in at a whopping 10.30grams. Featuring a central Natural Garnet in a five-claw setting framed by smaller claw-set round garnets in a deep red colour, a final surround of oval cabochon cut natural solid white Opals each with varied spectral colours, bezel set length ways along outer frame of mount, set to a gold bead worked frame, raised decorative shoulders merging into a very solid flat edged band. These rings are made up in different parts and screwed together in the center. The idea was that they could be interchangeable. This ring is made up of four parts, the frame, and three moving tiers. An impressive ring on the hand that is definitely a heavy and substantial ring.

These Thai princess rings are a personal favourite of mine and are extremely collectable and hard to come by now. They come in many different combinations of gems and configurations. This grand gal is a definite show-stopper. A story a romance to add to your collection.❤️❤️

Set with 9 x round cut Natural Garnets deep red in colour, included, measuring 4.60mm and 3.10mm. 8 x oval cabochon cut solid natural Opals white in colour with varied spectral of colours, measuring approx. 7.20mm - 6.00mm.

In excellent vintage condition.❤️❤️

HALLMARK: 18k. Note this has been hallmarked wrong. Ring has been XRF tested and tests as 9ct solid gold.
