DESCRIPTION: This WONDERFUL ring has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. The ring was made by leading Melbourne jewellery manufacturers G & E Rodd. From the 1920's to the late 1940's, Rodd used their trademark "Apex" on jewellery and silverware to show the quality and attention to detail of their products.  In 1948 the mark was replaced with "Rodd". This gorgeous ring is hallmarked "Rodd".

This gorgeous ring circa 1950's is in absolutely beautiful condition and looks to have been hardly worn. A very solid ring with a nice gold weight of 5.14grams the ring has a very solid shank that widens to detailed shoulders and has a good-sized horseshoe in the center. This could be worn by either a man or a woman as it has a good-sized profile on the finger. A truly fabulous addition to any vintage jewellery collection.🐴🐎

The face on the ring/horseshoe measures 13.30mm x 12.20mm.
