DESCRIPTION: This WONDERFUL ring has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. The ring was made by leading Melbourne jewellery manufacturers G & E Rodd. From the 1920's to the late 1940's, Rodd used their trade mark "Apex" on jewellery and silverware to show the quality and attention to detail of their products. In 1948 the mark was replaced with "Rodd". This gorgeous ring is hallmarked "APEX" and is circa 1930's. The ring is in exceptional condition, very solid with a nice gold weight of 4.70grams the ring has a very solid shank that widens to detailed shoulders and has a good-sized horseshoe in the center.

This could be worn by either a Man or a Woman as it has a good-sized profile on the finger. A truly fabulous addition to any vintage jewellery collection.🐴🐎

The face on the ring/horseshoe measures 12.90mm x 12.15mm.

The ring is in exceptional vintage condition. The ring does have a faint inscription to the inside see photos.🐎🐴
