DESCRIPTION: A beautifully styled vintage ring that has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. Fashioned in a gorgeous "Buckle " style the hallmark type indicates the ring is circa 1940's-1950's. She is HEAVY and a wonderfully ornate, detailed by a Buckle motif in polished gold rails and embellished with beautiful foliate relief work tapering to a plain solid band in the back.

This is a beautiful example of a buckle ring, the detail is superb and this is such a solid ring that is suited to daily wear. Being so wide at the front, the ring has a wonderful presence on the hand. A fabulous edition to any vintage jewellery collection. This would suit either a Man or a Woman. 

The buckle was a Victorian symbol of steadfast love. Even today the buckle ring symbolizes the sentimental, binding love between the giver and the wearer of the ring. The interlocking belt and the buckle represent how perfectly the suitors are attuned to one another.❤️❤️
