DESCRIPTION: A beautiful vintage bangle made in solid sterling silver. An English piece made by Joseph Smith & Sons displaying clear, crisp Chester hallmarks and is assay dated 1946. The Chester assay office closed down in 1962 making anything with a Chester hallmark very collectable. The is fashioned in a wonderfully wide belt style measuring 25.50mm in width, the detail is exquisite featuring a divine foliate design. A fine bangle indeed with exquisite detail.
