DESCRIPTION: This WONDERFUL ring has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold.  A vintage ring circa 1970's this is a very solid, HEAVY and wonderfully ornate ring with a gorgeous floral pattern. It is very wide at the front and tapers at the back. A beautiful example of a buckle ring that is quite unique.  Being so wide at the front, the ring has a wonderful presence on the hand. A fabulous edition to any vintage jewellery collection.

The buckle was a Victorian symbol of steadfast love. Even today the buckle ring symbolizes the sentimental, binding love between the giver and the wearer of the ring. The interlocking belt and the buckle represents how perfectly the suitors are attuned to one another.🌹
