DESCRIPTION: This WONDERFUL ring has been crafted in solid 9ct gold. A vintage piece circa 1980's made in England displaying London hallmarks and assay dated 1981. This is more modern keeper ring modelled on the original Victorian keeper. In the Victorian era the keeper ring is said to have represented the idea that the receiver was worth “keeping.” It was considered a kind of pre-engagement or betrothal ring and was presented a year before the official engagement.

The ring is lovely and wide in the front with a plaited design in the gold there are 2 rows of gold studs. The band tapering at the back for comfort. 

Width of the front of ring is 8.23mm.
